ABOUT VENUES ROTORUA ENERGY EVENTS CENTRE ROTORUA CONVENTION CENTRE CIVIC THEATRE TE RUNANGA TEA HOUSE ROTORUA SOUNDSHELL ROTORUA INTERNATIONAL STADIUM VENUES | ROTORUA SOUNDSHELL   ROTORUA SOUNDSHELL Built in the 1950s as a multi purpose facility, the Soundshell is located on the picturesque Rotorua lakefront at the bottom of the Rotorua Central Business District.   The venue contains both an auditorium and conference/meeting room and caters for all types of events from community concerts and performances, recreational events and markets, through to conference dinners and dinner shows. The main auditorium can hold up to 390 delegates theatres style, 275 classroom style, 290 for a banquet dinner and up to 400 for a cocktail event. The conference or meeting room can accommodate 70 theatre style, 50 classroom, 80 for cocktails and up to 52 for a dinner.   The Soundshell is a well known venue which plays host to many annual events and is often utilised as a headquarters for outdoor and lake based events.   Our caterers can provide quality food and beverage services to meet the needs of your event.
