The Rotorua Convention Centre is located in Rotorua’s downtown business and retail area, just minutes walk from major hotels, shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and the lakefront. It is also just a short walk to the Energy Events Centre. The building features unique architecture blending historic features with a contemporary look. Carparking is readily available in the streets and Government Gardens around the Convention Centre.
The Rotorua Convention Centre has been designed specifically for conferences, exhibitions and tradeshows. The centre includes rooms of varying sizes, including the Banquet Room, a Concert Chamber – the Civic Theatre, a mezzanine floor, a multi functional foyer and four smaller break out rooms. The Convention Centre can accommodate up to 1000 people for a cocktail function or up to 800 delegates seated theatre style for a conference. The Centre can hold 50 exhibition booths, or 680 for a concert in the Civic Theatre.
