The complex also boasts six break-out rooms.   For an event with a difference, the substantial Wai Ora Spa Grand Hall (1480 sq mtrs) can be used for welcome reception cocktails, small dinners, registration, a trade exhibition and/or catering area.   The Rotorua Convention Centre is also a popular venue for conventions, designed specifically for conferences, exhibitions and tradeshows. The centre features an auditorium holding 686 seats, fully acoustic Concert Chamber, banquet room (728 sq mtrs), mezzanine floor area, a multi-functional foyer as well as four breakout rooms. This facility is well equipped to cater for all space requirements of conferences, exhibitions and tradeshows. Both venues are within comfortable walking distance of each other and operate hand in hand.
